Deceased: Beatrice "Bea" Lytle

Beatrice "Bea" Lytle went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Kenwood Manor Nursing Home. Bea was born April 8, 1927, in Gore, Okla., to David and Mary Reed Fields.

She attended school in Canton and Longdale.

Bea married Enest Mars Lytle Dec. 31, 1945. They made their home in Longdale and later moved to Wichita, Kan. They returned to Oklahoma and raised their four children in the Enid and Cleo Springs area.

Bea worked for Quality Laundry and various nursing homes in Enid. Mostly she was a homemaker, raising and caring for her children.

After retirement, Enest and Bea moved to Fairview, where they enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, family and friends.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Enest in 1997; one brother, Bud Fields; and one sister, Frances Jenkins.

She is survived by two sons, Ernie Lytle of Augusta, Kan., and Chet Lytle and wife Pam of Enid; two daughters, Susan Doud and husband Marvin of Ringwood and Rosie Prince of Blackwell; one sister, Eva Dixon of Boise City, Okla.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Enid.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in Longdale Cemetery with Pastor Richard Fleig officiating. Service is under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Memorials may be made to donor's choice with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.

Beatrice (Bea) Lytle went to be with her Lord on February 8, 2011 at Kenwood Manor Nursing Home. Bea was born on April 8, 1927 in Gore, OK to David and Mary Reed Fields. She attended school in Canton and Longdale. Bea married Enest Mars Lytle on December 31, 1945. They made their home in Longdale and later moved to Wichita, Kansas. They returned to Oklahoma and raised their four children in the Enid and Cleo Springs area. Bea worked for Quality Laundry and various nursing homes in Enid.
