A funeral service to celebrate the Life of Kay French of Longdale, Okla., was
held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Longdale Community Church, Longdale,
Okla. Ray Schoonmaker officiated. Burial was in Longdale Cemetery under the
direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Okla.
Kay was born Aug., 17, 1944, in Seiling, Okla., to Wallace and Thelma Mae (Cook)
Tibbetts. She departed this life on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at her home in
Longdale, Okla.
Kay was a loving mother and wife. Kay accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in
October 2006 and was a member of the Longdale Community Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Wanzer, and father, Wallace
Tibbetts.
Surviving are her husband, Wendell French; daughter, Tina Manlangit; son, Tom
Evans, Jr. and Suzie Waldrep; son Wayne French and wife Sherri; mother Thelma
(Cook) Tibbetts; sister Diana Newton and husband Harley; several grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Kay's memory to Longdale Community Church with the
funeral home serving as custodian.
