James W. Boston was born August 13th, 1841, in St . Louis Co , Mo., died June 17, 1920.
He was united in marriage to Evline Thistle, May 16th, 1867. Of this union nine children were born. His wife preceded him to the grave 15 months ago. Seven of the children are living, two dying in infancy.
Mr. Boston was a pioneer of Blaine County, living on a farm south and east from Longdale.
He had been in bad health for a number of years, being partially paralyzed .
The funeral was held at the home by H. Burch of Canton. The singing was done by Mesdames McDowell, Hockaday, Gene Willis, Fike and Miss Mable Burch. A large host of friends followed the remains to the Longdale Cemetery , where they were laid beside his wife.
