HOMESTEAD - Graveside services for Dolores Root, 76, were held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Homestead Cemetery. Arrangements were by Lanman Funeral Home of Okeene.

Dolores was born Nov. 1, 1932 in Edmond to Ralph and Margaret Orr Hood and died Jan. 1, 2009, at her home in Homestead. She married Thomas Root May 4, 1952, in Berryville, Ark.

Survivors include her husband T.J., one daughter, three sons, one brother, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and one sister.
