Scott Bradley Pollman, long time Perry area resident, 65, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 12, 2020. He was born May 17, 1955 in Okeene, Oklahoma and was the son of John Pollman and Maebelle (Outhier) Pollman.
Scott graduated from Okeene High School in Okeene, Oklahoma in 1973. He graduated cu laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a B.S. degree in Marketing in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1977. While attending undergraduate school he also earned a black belt in Okinawan karate. He received his Masters of Business Administration degree in 1979 from Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He and Sereta Ann (Taylor) Haynes were married on November 15, 1980 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He worked for Central Sales Promotions, In., a subsidiary of TG&Y until March of 1981. They moved to Perry, Oklahoma in April of 1981 where he worked for The Charles Machine Works, Inc. until he retired in 2010. Scott was also a Director of the Exchange Bank and Trust Company in Perry and he was a local livestock producer.
Scott was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Okeene, Perry Rural Fire Association, Sumner Rural Fire Association, Noble County Cattlemen’s Association, Oklahoma, Noble County Historical Society, and the National Rifle Association.
Scott also loved the outdoors and enjoyed the land and improving it for the wildlife.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Ann of the home in Perry; two brother, Chris Pollman and wife Loretta of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Pat Pollman and wife Trish of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two sons, Christ Haynes and wife Sue of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Kevin Hayne and wife Sarah of League City, Texas, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and niece Tonya Pollman and husband Lance of Skiatook, OK
Funeral services for Scott will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Okeene, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Homestead Cemetery in Homestead, Oklahoma. Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Homestead Cemetery Association (Larry Church, Rt 2 Box 129A, Okeene, OK 73763) or the Okeene Food Pantry in care of the First United Methodist Church of Okeene
