A graveside service for Robert Gilman Loud, 90, of Wakefield, Kan., will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, in Homestead Cemetery, Homestead. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.

He was born March 3, 1918, at Quincy, Mass. to Cady and Alice Loud and died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008.

He attended Quincy schools. He married Dolores Strader Aug. 29, 1969, at San Diego. He retired from the Navy after 23 years of service. He worked and retired from Bay City Marine, San Diego, as a shipbuilder. He moved to Wakefield, Kan. in 2002. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Bella Vista, Ark.

Surviving are his wife, Dolores of Wakefield; one son, Gary Kenneth Bower of San Diego; one daughter, Kathryn Dill of Clay Center, Kan.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one son.

GREENLEAF — Graveside service for Dolores Loud, 81, of Greenleaf, will be 1 p.m. today, March 31, 2012, in Homestead Cemetery. Terry Strader will officiate. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene. Visitation 9:30 a.m. to noon today at Wilkinson Mortuary.
Dolores was born April 15, 1930, near Homestead, Okla., the daughter of Ralph C. and Bessie L. (Marx) Strader and died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Washington County Hospital.
Surviving are her son, Gary K. (Judy) Bowen of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Kathryn Dill of Arkansas City, Kan.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband and one brother.

Editor's note - Per her husband's obit, she was married to Robert Gilman Loud on Aug. 29, 1969, at San Diego. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2008 and is also buried in Homestead Cemetery.
