Patricia Honeyfield Kirkham, a beloved mother and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully at her home in, Hitchcock Oklahoma, on December 3, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on July 9, 1936, in Prim, Oklahoma, Patricia's gentle spirit and nurturing heart were evident from a young age, qualities that would define her life’s journey.
Throughout her early years, Patricia made meaningful contributions to her community, working at the Okeene Hospital and serving at the Hitchcock Cafe. However, the role that fulfilled her most was that of a devoted homemaker. She dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving family environment, a true testament to her amazing mothering abilities. Patricia took great pride in her home and expertly balanced her responsibilities, always ensuring that her family felt loved and cared for.
Patricia was an active member of the New Life Assembly of God Church for many years, where her faith and community engagement touched the lives of many. She was well known not just for her warmth but also for her culinary talents. Residents of Hitchcock fondly remember her astonishing baking abilities—her homemade bread and cinnamon rolls were legendary, drawing friends and family together over joyful meals and cherished conversations.
Above all, Patricia's greatest joy came from her family. She leaves behind her loving husband, Allison Kirkham, and a legacy of love through her children: Peggy Dobson, Xylia Cayot and her husband John, Donnie Pennel and his partner Pam, and Jeff Pennel and his wife Pauline. Her family continued to grow, and she was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her spirit and values.
Patricia is predeceased by her first husband, Irvin Honeyfield, and her beloved son Greg Ziblay. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pearl Price, and 5 sisters. Their memories remain etched in the hearts of those she touched with her love.
