August 20, 1934 ~ September 17, 2018

Funeral services for Raymond Milton Ewing, 84, of Fairview, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Fairview First Methodist Church, with Reverends Dillon Zimmerman and Andrew Haire officiating. Burial will follow in Homestead Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Raymond Milton Ewing was born August 20, 1934 to Raymond Elton and Marguerite Mary (Bouse) Ewing at Isabella, Oklahoma and passed away peacefully at the Okeene Hospital in Okeene, Oklahoma on September 17, 2018, at the age of 84.

In September of 1953 he married Shirley Jo McNaught and they moved to a farm about 10 miles southeast of Fairview, where they excitedly ventured off into the next chapter of their lives. Over the next number of years, they were blessed with and raised 5 children on that farm: Mike, Vince, Troy, Linda, and Todd.

Milton is survived by son Mike Ewing and his wife Sheryl of Fairview, Oklahoma, son Vince Ewing and his wife Lona of Allen, Texas, daughter Linda Zimmerman and her husband Mitch of Fairview and son Todd Ewing and his wife Jennifer of Silver Springs, Florida, eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren with one on the way, sister Marjorie Smith of Greenville, South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Elton and Marguerite Mary Ewing, wife Shirley, one son Troy Ewing and brother-in-law Kennett Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Fairview First United Methodist Church with the Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
