Wilma Jean (Kirk) Corbett
June 10, 1934 ~ September 3, 2022

Funeral services for Wilma Jean Corbett, 88, of Fairview, will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Central Christian Church in Fairview. Burial will follow in the Homestead Cemetery in Homestead, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Wilma Jean (Kirk) Corbett, departed this world on September 3, 2022, at the age of 88. Jean was born to William Charles Kirk and Myrtle Leona (Lee) Kirk on June 10, 1934 in Longdale, Oklahoma. Jean grew up in Canton, Oklahoma, then moved to Fairview in the summer of 1972 to be closer to her work. Jean worked at the Fairview Hospital and for Dr. Orville Neufeld until retirement.

Jean loved her family with a passion, favoring her grandchildren most of all. She considered being an aunt and great-aunt as an honor and loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She always lit up with an amazing smile when she was around her family. Her family meant the world to her and her family would embrace her calmness, gentleness and love in their hour of need.

Jean enjoyed the hobby of painting with close friends and was very talented with a paint-brush. She loved attending church and singing the old hymns, reading in her bible and making plans to be with her beloved Savior.

Jean was preceded in death by her: parents Bill and Myrtle Kirk, husband Patrick Corbett, two brothers John Reginald Grauberger, Ray Kirk, one sister Twyla Kirk, two nephews, James Ray Grauberger, David Dalton and three nieces, Jonnie Lu (Grauberger) Walters, Terri Dawn (Kirk) White and Pamela (Grauberger) Doak and one sister in-law Rosemary Grauberger.

Jean leaves behind cherished memories with her: Daughters: Dawn (LaDonna) McEntire and husband Lonnie, Mary Ellen Parkhurst and husband Bob, One brother: Ronnie and his wife Linda Kirk, Grandchildren: Dee Hurley and husband David, Paul McEntire, Chad McEntire and wife Jamie, Chris McEntire, Jimmie Parkhurst, Kirstin Parkhurst and Brianna Parkhurst, Great-Grandchildren: Taylor (McEntire) McNeil, Samantha McEntire, Ciera McEntire, Cassidy McEntire, Lane McEntire, Sarah Schrack, Marco and Victoria Bellomo, and many Nieces and Nephews: Sharon (Grauberger) Pratt, John Grauberger, Jay Grauberger, Alan Dalton, Shannon (Dalton) Whitmer, Brad Kirk, Kim (Kirk) Bierig, Tim Kirk, Suzette (Kirk) Cranford and Von Kirk.
