NONA TONKINSON

The funeral for Nona Tonkinson, 90, of Hennessey, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Nazarene. The Revs. Dean Ferguson and Gordon Rupert will officiate. Burial will be at Geary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

She was born April 5, 1915, in Sobel, to William Grady and Ida Tallant Foster and died Friday, July 1, 2005, at her home.

She married John W. Tonkinson at Cleveland, Okla., on Oct. 11, 1934, and was a member of Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are one daughter, Malinda Kerr of Hennessey; one brother, Amos Foster of Pueblo, Colo.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, three brothers, two daughters and one son.

Memorials may be made to Church of the Nazarene with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
