Mary Ella Austin

November 14, 1890 ~ January 30, 1983

Watonga – Funeral for Mary Ella Austin will be at 11 AM Saturday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. O. J. Neal and the Rev. W. D. Mucker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Russworm Funeral Home.

She was born November 14, 1890, in Kociusko, Mississippi, and at a fairly early age came with her parents to the Watonga area. She died Sunday at the age of 92 in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was an active member of the Union Baptist Church in Watonga.

Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona, Lindola Stafford of Los Angeles, California, and Dorothy A. Stroud of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, 23 great – grandchildren and 16 great – great – grandchildren.
