Patricia Lee Lorenz was born on September 2, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to LaClida and Umaldy T. Waterfall.
Pat went to Stillwater High School before attending nursing school at the University of Oklahoma. She was a nurse at Okeene Memorial Hospital for more than 50 years, where she started her career as a surgical nurse and then transitioned to Director of Nurses and eventually retired in 2016 from her position as Chief Operating Officer.
During Pat's years at Okeene Hospital, she often was a mentor to others and formed special bonds of genuine affection and respect with those who crossed her path. In addition to her dedication to her career, Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her genuine concern for others was evident in the daily compassion and concern she showed others and in the love that so many returned to her. Pat's other interests included reading, classical music, and a love for animals including her pets and many very lucky strays. She especially enjoyed good times with friends and family whether it was a nice "cousins' lunch" or travel for fun and holiday get-togethers.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Billy George Lorenz, and her son, Barney Guy Lorenz.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Robin Lorenz and her husband, Kevin Roth; her sister, Kathleen and her husband, Sherman Lawton; her brother, Theodore (Ted) Waterfall, and his wife, Robin; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Lorenz; her grandson, Theodore Roth; her granddaughter, Loren and her husband, Joseph Bassey; her granddaughter, April; her grandson, Robert Lorenz (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Daten McCollum, and her cousin, Marylyn Rowell.
