ENID — Doyle R. Lasiter graveside service will be 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Eagle City Cemetery. Arrangements by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Doyle was born Aug. 26, 1931, to George and Nellie (Jones) Lasiter and died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at his home near Fay.

He married Paulette Grabow Dec. 21, 2000.

He was preceded in death by son Claude and five siblings.

Surviving are wife Paulette Lasiter of the home; children, Donna, Libby, Twyla, Elaine, Kim, Pam, Doyle Jr., George, John, Anna and Chad; siblings, Calvin, Jim, Tim, Letha, Rita and Opal; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;

The graveside service for Doyle R. Lasiter, 81, of Fay, OK, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012 at Eagle City Cemetery with Chaplain Randy Weaver officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Doyle Raymond Lasiter was born on August 26, 1931 at Checotah, OK to George and Nellie (Jones) Lasiter. He departed this life on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at his home near Fay, OK.

Doyle worked for Wheeler Brothers Grain and for the Oklahoma State Department of Transportation in Blaine County for many years, retiring in 1996. He married Paulette Grabow on December 21, 2000 at Watonga, OK. Doyle enjoyed fishing, hunting, western movies, and loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Claude Raymond Lasiter; three brothers, Earl Lasiter, Red Lasiter and Eddie Lasiter; two sisters, Dorothy Brock and Betty Evans; Survivors include his wife, Paulette Lasiter of the home; eleven children, Donna Sipe, Libby Stuart, Twyla Kimbrough, Elaine Walker, Kim Hopper, Pam Clements, Doyle Lasiter, Jr., George Lasiter, John Fondren, Anna Roberts and Chad Fondren; three brothers, Calvin Lasiter, Jim Lasiter and Tim Lasiter; three sisters, Letha Hill, Rita Pendergraph and Opal Licon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
