Sally May Crelly was born January 2nd, 1949 in Thomas, Oklahoma. She went home to be with the Lord on October 4th, 2009 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her loving husband of 40 years by her side.

Sally was the 6th of seven children born to Willie and Lula Mae Walker of Oakwood, Oklahoma. She attended school and graduated from Oakwood in 1967. While in college at Panhandle State she met the love of her life, Thomas F. Crelly. They were married on December 21, 1968. Together they raised seven children, farmed, travelled and vacationed with family and friends. They celebrated life and a love for the Lord. Sally was baptized into Christ as a young adult. Sally loved serving the Lord through teaching Sunday school, she served her community by writing the Eagle City news and she served her country by working on the election board. Her family was spoiled with her delicious cooking and baking. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning, gardening, farming, her morning walks and working along side her husband. Sally was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband Tom of their home in Eagle City, four daughters, three sons and eleven grandchildren, Tina and Chris Hladik of Edmond, Oklahoma and their children Ashton and Abby; Paul and Tammy Crelly of Elk City, Oklahoma; Tonya and Mike Nix of Eagle City, Oklahoma and their children Eli, Ally, Kenzi and Kylie; Heidi and Josh Olson of Elk City, Oklahoma and their children Gavin and Zoe; Julie and Jeff Schmidt of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma and their children Tyler, Rowdy and Noah; Adam Crelly of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and Caleb Crelly of their home in Eagle City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by sisters Clorus Amen, Ann Griffith and Connie Richardson, brothers Clyde Walker and Gale Walker, many nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers- and sisters-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lula Mae Walker and one brother, Lee Roy Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at the Canton Christian Church with Steve Driskill officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle City Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in care of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724. Condolences may be made at Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home.
