ENID, Okla. — Graveside service for Robert Lee Abshire will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, in Eagle City Cemetery. Arrangements by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Okla.

Robert was born Nov. 4, 1948, in Thomas, Okla., to Dick Lee and Audrey Mae (Chain) Abshire and died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at his home in Canton.

He was raised around the Seiling and Canton area, graduating from Canton High School in 1967.

He served with the Navy from 1967 through 1971.

Preceded by his father and one brother.

Surviving are his mother, Audrey Mae Abshire; brother, Orville Abshire; and sister, Linda Hysell.
