Clark Emmett Wray

May 9, 1957 ~ March 2, 2010

ENID - The funeral for Clark Emmett Wray, 52, of Watonga, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Watonga Christian Church. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, Hitchcock. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga. Family visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

He was born May 9, 1957, in Colgate to Emmett “Red” and Barbara Wray and died Tuesday, March 2, 2010.

He had lived in Watonga for the past 42 years, where he graduated from Watonga High School and was an emergency manager for Blaine County. He was a member of Watonga Christian Church, where he served as deacon.

He married Elaine Goodwin July 17, 2004, in Watonga.

Surviving are his wife, Elaine, of the home; two sons, Kirk Wray and Sean Wray, both of Princeton, Ill.; two stepsons, Jalyn Christy and Gene Haun; two daughters, Trisha Kubiak of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Donna Wray of Watonga; one stepdaughter, Kelli Waggoner; one brother, Mark Wray of Watonga; two sisters, Susie Boeckman of Watonga and Patti Milburn of Oklahoma City; his children’s mother, Shannon Wray of Manlius, Ill.; two grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
