JULY 5, 1948 ~ FEBRUARY 20, 2019 (AGE 70)

Rosary for Kenneth Robert Spaeth will be Monday, February 25, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Okeene. Funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. with burial at Cottonwood Cemetery at Hitchcock. Visitation with family will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kenneth Robert Spaeth was born July 5, 1948 to Anton and Esther Amelia Nault Spaeth and went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 20, 2019. Kenny grew up in the Hitchcock community, graduating from Watonga High School in 1966. Upon graduation, Kenny attended Okmulgee Tech for two years before joining the U.S. Navy in 1969 and proudly served his country in Vietnam as a U.S. Navy CB until 1973 when he was honorably discharged.

Upon returning from Vietnam Kenny worked at several temporary jobs before going into a partnership with Jim and Ron Osmus, forming SOO Trucking. Kenny and Jim were in a successful partnership for thirty-three years, expanding into farming and ranching in the Okeene area. Kenny married the love of his life, Ruthie, in 1998 and spent twenty-one wonderful years very happily married.

Those preceding Kenny in death are his father and mother, Anton and Esther Spaeth; brother, Michael Spaeth and two sisters, Helen Unruh and Mary Ann Spragins.

Surviving Kenny are his loving wife, Ruthie; son, Jason Waggoner and wife, Kelly; grandsons, Blake, Nolan and Nash; brothers, Anton Thomas Spaeth and John Alfred Spaeth and wife, Shirley; numerous nieces; nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made to the New Parish Hall Fund at St. Anthony's Catholic Church through the funeral home.
