Shirley Jean Spaeth was born January 9, 1939, at Yampa, Colorado to Ted and Nellie Dunn, and passed away September 28, 2024, at the age of 85.
She was a resident of the Hitchcock community for 57 years, where she was a CNA and homemaker. She attended and graduated from Watonga High School and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Watonga. She married John Spaeth at El Reno, Oklahoma on August 31, 1967.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Nellie Dunn; brothers, Lloyd Dunn, and Ronnie Dunn; sisters, Ruth Hastings and Sandra Dunn.
She is survived by her husband, John Spaeth, of the home in Hitchcock, OK.

Stepson………………………… Mark Spaeth (Shelly) of Tulsa, OK.
One daughter………………… Amanda Hess (David) of Hitchcock, OK.
Three Stepdaughters..…….. Leah Rother (Jeff) of Ardmore, OK, Susan Bedwell (Steve) of Okeene, OK, and Shannon Campbell of Greenville, SC.
Grandchildren……………….. David Edsall, Cassidy Edsall, Devin Hess, Nathan Rother, Audrey Mitchell, Jacob Rother, Will Spaeth, Jackson Spaeth, Creed Campbell, Mckenzie Stadelman, Carlee Holder, Chance Parker, Caycie Brickman, Tanner O’Kelley.
Funeral mass for Shirley will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., at the St. Rose of Lima Catholica Church in Watonga, OK, with Father Ben Lwin officiating. The burial will directly follow, at Cottonwood Cemetery in Hitchcock, OK with Wilkinson Mortuary handling the arrangements.
