PAT MCLARTY

A graveside service for Pat McLarty, 80, of Hitchcock, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cottonwood Cemetery, Hitchcock. The Rev. Duane Roever will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga.
He was born July 27, 1925, at Okmulgee to Ralph and Carrie Mae Earls McLarty and died Saturday, April 1, 2006.
He graduated from Okmulgee High School in May of 1943, and in July joined the Navy, serving on the submarine U.S.S. Sea Dog. He lived in Hitchcock, where he was a rancher.
He was a member of V.F.W., Elks Lodge and past board member of Hitchcock schools. He married Dorothy Koop Nov. 27, 1947, at Okeene.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy of the home; three sons, Danny McLarty of Bucklin, Kan., Dr. Tom McLarty of Mutual and Kevin McLarty of Tulsa; two sisters, Betty Jo Hollaman of Okmulgee and Mona Hehner of Edmond; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Memorials may be made to Watonga Hospital.

Funeral for Dorothy Elizabeth McLarty, 86, Watonga, is 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Catholic Church, Watonga. The Rev. Stephen Hamilton will officiate. Burial in Cottonwood Cemetery, Hitchcock. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary.
She was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Homestead to Walter and Clara Lollman Koop and died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011.
Surviving are sons, Mike McLarty, Syracuse, Kan., Tom Patrick McLarty, Mutual and Kevin McLarty, Tulsa; brother, Norbert Koop, West Covina, Calif.; sisters Lucille Cochran and Mary Ella Hollander, both of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
