A graveside service for Ruby Gooden, 90, of Watonga, will be 2 p.m. Friday in East Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Watonga. The Rev. Doug Jackson will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga.

She was born in February 1917, in Hinton to Roy and Minnie Derry and died Tuesday, May 29, 2007.

She lived most of her life in Watonga. She attended Green-field schools and was a 25-year member of Extension Home-makers.

She married Thurmel Gooden in August 1934, in Watonga. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are one son, John Gooden of Alvin, Texas; two daughters, Darlene Ray and Carol Winn, both of Watonga; three sisters, Wilma McLaughlin and Nita Huff, both of Watonga, and Betty Nitzel of Geary; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thurmel, one son, three brothers, three sisters and one great-great-grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to East Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association.
