A private family service for Denny R. Mack, 69, of Blackwell, will be in Collins Cemetery, Okeene. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home.

He was born July 24, 1938, in Paris, Mo., to George Lewis and Elsie Mary Richardson Mack and died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He graduated from Tonkawa High School. He served in the Army Reserves. He worked as a butcher many years, most recently for Miller Market, Ponca City. He married Lela Bellah March 20, 2000, in Miami. They made their home in Blackwell. He was a member of Blackwell Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Lela of the home; one daughter, Mona Stiles of Enid; one sister, Maxine Brockob of Lombard, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, diabetes division.
