HOMER LEROY FULLBRIGHT


MORENO VALLEY, Calif. - Graveside service for Homer Leroy (Uncle Lee) Fullbright will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006, in Collins Cemetery, three miles east and 1.5 miles north of Okeene with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Okeene. Full military honors will be presented by the United States Navy. The family will gather at the funeral home, 209 N. Main, Okeene, between 1:30 and 2 p.m. on Friday.

Homer L. Fullbright was born July 21, 1926, in Kingfisher, the son of Floyd and Lula Frances (Quisenberry) Fullbright. He entered the United States Navy in April 1966 and served on the USS Enterprise. He was a member of the USN Seabees, serving two tours in Vietnam before his retirement. He was a 24-year resident of Moreno Valley, Calif.

He is survived by his daughter, Fern of Wisconsin; a son, Andy and daughter, Linda of Alaska; a daughter, Diana of Montana; a daughter, Tammy of California; a son, Mark of Arizona; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nephews, Troy Fullbright and family, and Gayle Stone, both of Woodward.

Homer was preceded in death by his brother, Troy and two sisters, Doris and Judy. (Paid Obit 7-6-1)
