Matthew and Jennifer returned to the family farm where they farmed, raised cattle and pigs. They were blessed with two children, Berry Brown Nault and David Brown.

Matthew had a strong desire to help his fellow farmers so he began operating a machine shop were he made many repairs and built many friendships.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Ruth Brown, his brothers Addison and Arlyn Brown and his sister Betty Brown Hodges.

A celebration of his life will be held at one of the local reception halls following the service. All friends and family are invited to attend both places. Reverend Gaylon Cox will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Collins Cemetery in Okeene with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
