Graveside services for Martha Robison, 88, of Longdale, Oklahoma will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023 at Cherryvale Cemetery east of Canton, Oklahoma with Keith Robinett officiating. Arrangements by Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Oklahoma.
Martha Mae (McDonald) Robison was born May 13, 1935 at Longdale, Oklahoma to Floyd and Margaret (Hoskins) McDonald. She departed this life on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Martha was raised at Longdale and attended Longdale Schools. She married Wilbur Dean Robison on December 6, 1952 at the Assembly of God Church in Fairview, Oklahoma. Martha and Wilbur lived in the Longdale community for many years and raised two sons, Gary Dean Robison and Keith Wayne Robison. Martha worked as a nurse’s aide and also helped with the office work for Gary Robison trucking spotting service at Southard.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wilbur Robison; son Keith Wayne Robison; grandson Micah Robison; and three brothers, Kenneth Ray McDonald, Eldon Dean McDonald and Lloyd William McDonald; She is survived by son Gary Robison and wife Dianah of Canton, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Garen Robison and wife Alicia of Okeene, OK and Kevin Robison and wife Bobbie of Fairview, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren Grant Dean Robison, Baylea Nicole Robison, Taylor Jo Robison of Okeene, OK, Blake Robison, Keelie Robison of Fairview, OK and Bristol Robison; one sister, Anita Forbis of Bethany, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Cherryvale Cemetery Association with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.
