Genevieve Dink Rauh

The funeral for Genevieve Dink Rauh, 77, of Longdale, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Midway Assembly of God Church, 16 miles west of Fairview. The Rev. Tommy Pitts will officiate. Burial will be in Cherryvale Cemetery, Southard. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.

She was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Longdale to Jim and Sinda Watkins Gillum and died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009.

She attended Longdale schools. She married Arthur Rauh Dec. 26, 1948, in Southard. He preceded her in death. She was a waitress in Okeene restaurants and served as the Longdale water clerk and town treasurer from 1982 to 1999. She moved to Summit Living Center, Okeene, in 2004. She was a member of Midway Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are three sons, Stanley Rauh of Okeene, Danny Rauh and Dennis Rauh, both of Canton; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, Arthur, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, one infant son and one infant granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Summit Living Center activity fund.
