The funeral for Joseph David Hadley Sr., 73, of Longdale, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Longdale Gym. The Revs. Jim Scott, John Whiteeagle and Richard Kahoe will officiate. Burial will be in Chief's Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fairview.
He was born May 28, 1936, in Concho to Preston Sr. and Iola Osage Hadley and died Friday, March 20, 2009, at his home.
He attended Longdale High School. He met Delores Oliver in 1967. He worked in construction throughout his life, retiring from Blue River Construction Co.
Surviving are his wife, Delores, of the home; one son, Joseph David Hadley Jr., of El Reno; four daughters, Sarah ScabbyHorse, Maxine Ruiz and Jodene Cruz, all of Longdale, and Wanda Blood of Canton; one brother, Carl Hadley of Longdale; one sister, Eunice Hadley of Longdale; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
