Darwina Lynn Clark was born on July 22, 1974 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Derwin and Myrlie (Birdshead) Lime. She departed this life Wednesday, May 8, 2019 near Hydro, Oklahoma. She was raised at the Birdshead place south of Carlton, Oklahoma and graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1992. After graduating, she met and married Millard Clark, Sr., and to this union two children were born, Lynsie Michelle Clark and Noah J.Clark. She later had two children with Chester Oldbear, Anola Oldbear and Sterling "Theok" Oldbear. Darwina loved the Circle of Dance. She often danced with her traditional sister Ricque Richardson and grandmother Marie Whiteman.
Darwina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph "Jess" Birdshead and Rose Tallbear-Birdshead; paternal grandparents Maurice "Funny" Lime, Jr. and Yolanda "Tillie" Faye Green-Lime; She is survived by her parents, Derwin Lime of El Reno, Oklahoma and Myrlie Hawk of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; two daughters, Lynsie Clark of Kingfisher and Anola Oldbear of Clinton; two sons, Noah Clark of Kingfisher and Sterling "Theok" Oldbear of Clinton; two sisters, Desirae Horse of Kingfisher and Delanie Lime of El Reno; one brother, Domnic Lime of Clinton; three grandchildren, Leandra Willis, Isaac Willis and Elena Smith; numerous extended family and friends.
Wake services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Canton Native American Gymnasium. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Canton School's Multi-Purpose Building with Reverend Waylon Upchego officiating. Interment will follow in the Canton Reinterment Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Immediately following the burial, family and friends will gather at the Canton Native American Gym for a dinner. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
