Our beloved Joseph Big Medicine, III left us on November 13, 2024. He was born October 27, 1980 at Watonga, Oklahoma to parents Joseph and Eva (Red Hat) Big Medicine, Jr. Loved and missed by his family, friends and relatives. He loved doing his own thing, loved spending time being with family and relatives. He liked getting on our nerves, teasing with us and some of us couldn’t take it. But no matter what we loved him. JoJo loved eating a lot and always had a fountain drink in his hands. He worked at Sonic in Gallup, New Mexico then went to work at Golden Corral in Gallup. Father, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin and the best part grandpa JoJo. Joseph will be greatly missed by his antics and his forgiveness, and his love.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Big Medicine, Jr.; sister, Melissa Big Medicine; grandparents Joseph and Imogene (Black Bear) Big Medicine, Sr. and William Wayne and Emma (Curtis) Red Hat; Survivors include three children, Tamera Anne Big Medicine, Aaron James Big Medicine and Jayden Big Medicine; mother, Eva Big Medicine; siblings Steven James Big Medicine, Benjamin R.
