Wake services for Macie Lynn Barnes, 35, of Longdale, OK will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday evening, July 23, 2018 at the Longdale Gymnasium with Pastor Lucas White officiating. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the same venue with interment to follow in Canton Reinterment Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK.
Macie Lynn Barnes was born on December 14, 1982 at Watonga, OK to Melvin Eugene, Jr. and Jacqueline Charlene (Hail) Barnes. She departed this life on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Longdale, OK.
Macie was raised in the Longdale community and attended school at Longdale and Canton. She enjoyed beading, going to casinos and spending time with her family. Macie liked being outdoors and loved to help her family split wood.
Macie was preceded in death by aunts Brenda Whiteman and Jacqueline Hail; uncles Jack Hail and George Hail; grandparents Ruby Lucerne Moore, Melvin Barnes, Sr., Dorothy Hail and Jay Copenhaven; great-grandparents May Mary Bull Hail and George Hail, Sr.;
Survivors include her parents, Melvin Jr. and Jackie Barnes of Longdale, OK; five children, son Brent Michael Schroeder of Okeene, OK, daughter Jacie May Murray of Longdale, OK, son Koben Allen Atchley and daughter Jolynn Jane Atchley both of Fairview, OK and son Isaac John Hough of Marlow, OK; brother Billy Barnes of Fairview, OK, sister Eva May Barnes of Longdale, OK and brother Terry Eugene Barnes of Longdale, OK; aunts and uncles Debra Gail Barnes, Timothy Barnes, Louise Coyote, Lane Coyote and David Hail; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
