Jerry Linn "Bo" Surveyor
July 16, 1948 ~ June 02, 2021

Jerry Linn "Bo" Surveyor was born July 16, 1948 at Clinton, Oklahoma to Elmer Charles and Elizabeth (Lime) Surveyor. He departed this life on June 2nd, 2021 at Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jerry attended school throughout his life, completing several degrees, and served his country in the U.S. Army.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Felix Roman Nose Surveyor and Maude Walkingwoman Surveyor and Maurice Lime, Sr. and Lucinda Scabbyhorse Lime; brother Charles Surveyor; sister Elizabeth Scroggins; He is survived by his wife Cordell Anne Shorty-Surveyor. Children Noelle Surveyor, Joanna Surveyor, Darren Whiteman, James Surveyor, Kyla Fragua, and Roman Surveyor; brother Harvey DeWayne Surveyor; sisters Norma Jones of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Leto Blackhorse; and 11 grandchildren Nolan Dayon, Kyla Dayon, Zachary Paul Whiteman, Joshua Dylan Whiteman, Nathaniel D. Amos, Shonae D. Whiteman, Terri Surveyor, Dalavai Surveyor, Marti Surveyor, Santino Surveyor, and Angelo Surveyor.

Wake services will begin at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Canton Native American Gymnasium. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the same venue with Reverend Gerald Panana officiating. Interment will follow at the Cantonment Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Military honors will be rendered by the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribal Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Funeral Honors team. Attendees are encouraged to wear masks. Condolences may be made online at
