Albert Leon Meat

Jan. 3, 1975 ~ Dec. 4, 2007

The funeral for Albert Leon Meat, 32, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Canton, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Canton. The Rev. Paul Bear Track will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Mennonite Cemetery, Canton. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home, Fairview. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and Monday at Canton Indian Community Center. Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Monday.

He was born Jan. 3, 1975, in Clinton to Chris Oliver Jr. and Eva Kathleen Meat and died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, in Albuquerque.

He attended high school in Canton and El Reno and later attended Redlands Commu-nity College in El Reno.

Surviving are four sisters, Paula Meat of Canton, Charity Meat of Elk City, Shane Meat of Tulsa and Katherine Groud of Ethete, Wyo.; and two brothers, Michael Osage of El Reno and Gary Meat of Cameron, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
