Maurine M. Island

June 24, 1950 ~ Jun 13, 1989

SEILING - The funeral for Maurine M. Island, 38, who was killed Tuesday in a pedestrian-truck accident near Canton, will be at 2 pm. Friday at the residence of Kathryn Bullcoming. The Rev.Clifford Koehn will officiate. Burial will be in Cantonment Cemetery near Canton under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.

She was born June 24, 1950, in Clinton. In October 1974, she married Keith Island in Seiling, where they lived for 14 years. She had attended Seiling schools and Bringham Young University in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked at Trego's Store in Woodward and McDonald's in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter. Challis Rose of the home; two sons, Donald Ray and Robert Keith, both of the home; her mother, Kathryn Bullcoming; and four brothers, Vernon and Roy Dean, both of Seiling, Donald of Concho and Tom of Billings, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, one brother, one son and one daughter.
