Narcissa Emma Hoof was born August 17, 1987 at Oklahoma City, OK to Kevin and Myra (White Buffalo) White. She departed this life on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Tulsa, OK at the age of 26 years, 8 months and 3 days.
Narcissa was preceded in death by her mother, Myra White Buffalo; a daughter, Akasumku Faith Tecumseh; and grandparents John and Phoebe White Buffalo;
She is survived by a daughter, Alize Tecumseh, and a son, Jabaica Tecumseh, both of Morris, OK; one sister, Trish Yackeschi and husband Tabish of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Willis Yackeschi of Tulsa, OK; father Kevin Boyd White of Anadarko, OK; step-father Charles Yellow Eyes of El Reno, OK; grandfather Tonekei White of Anadarko, OK; grandparents Doris and Walter Hamilton of El Reno, OK; aunt LaFreda White Buffalo of Oklahoma City, OK; her fiance, Corey Reese; nieces and nephews Tamara Yackeschi,Nicole Yackeschi, Quanah Little Bear Yackeschi and Troy Yackeschi; many cousins and extended family; Narcissa enjoyed braiding hair and spending time with her family. She was lovingly referred to as “the nut” by her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
A traditional all-night wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Seiling-Fonda Community Center. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Seiling-Fonda Community Center with Charley Black Bear officiating. Burial will follow in Cantonment Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
