A wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Canton Native American Gymnasium for Larry Bell Allen Chiefly, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the same venue with Reverend James Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Canton Indian Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
Larry Allen Chiefly was born June 6, 1955 at Okeene, Oklahoma to Joan Chiefly. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Larry Bell, as he was affectionately known, was raised and attended school at Canton, Oklahoma and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was a Golden Gloves boxer in his younger years.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother; an infant son, Larry Chiefly, Jr.; sisters Sharon Chiefly and Linda Key; one brother, Kenneth Bowman; uncle Maurice “Funny” Lime, Jr.; He is survived by daughters Rebecca Chiefly, Angela Chiefly and Penny Rusky; sons Jarvis Daukei, Eric Hail, Larry Chiefly, III and Vaugh Wallowing Bull; one sister, Carolyn Hamilton; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
