Pelma Ann (Little Coyote) Captain
October 30, 1952 ~ April 21, 2016

PELMA ANN (LITTLE COYOTE) CAPTAIN, of Wichita, passed from this life on April 21, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 22 days. She was born to Charles Little Coyote and Helen Whiteman on October 30, 1952 in California. The family moved to Medicine Lodge, Kansas when she was young. She was reared and educated in Kansas graduating Medicine Lodge High School. She then moved to Wichita to start her family, even turning down an acceptance from Berkley college to do so. She worked as a supervisor with the Red Cross for the mobile blood banks, but family was always her first priority.

In addition to her parents, Pelma was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Myron, and Byron Little Coyote.

Survivors include her four children, Heather Tabor and fiancé Steven Yosick of Ratliff City, OK, Jada Tabor of Wichita, KS, Jered Captain and wife Jennifer of Haysville, KS, and Tandi Captain of Wichita; two sisters, Wanda and Charlene Little Coyote; eight grandchildren Cody, Kayla, Mya, Jaden, Jax, Lillian, Zoe and Khloe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A traditional Cheyenne/Arapaho Wake service will be held Saturday night beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 12:00 noon, both at the C-1 Community Building in Seiling, OK. Burial will follow at Cantonment Cemetery.
