WAYLON BULLCOMING was born June 28, 1982 at University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was 28 at the time of his death. Waylon's Cheyenne Indian birth name was Na-Koss (meaning Little Bear). He was raised in the Seiling-Fonda area.
He attended Seiling School, The Jones Academy in Hartshorne, OK and Riverside Indian School in Anadarko where he received his high school diploma. He enjoyed sports and hanging around with his friends. He participated in the Cheyenne Sun Dance Ceremony and was a member of the Native American Church. He was a firm believer in the Cheyenne "way of life". At the time of his passing, Waylon was employed by Lucky Star Casino in Canton.
Waylon met and later married Josephine Ramos and together they had one child, Neosha Sunshine Bull Coming. He is survived by his wife Josephine and daughter Neosha Sunshine Bull Coming of Seiling, his father-Roy Dean Bull Coming of Seiling; two sisters: Norene Bull Coming of Seiling and Dawn Martel of Billings, MT, his mother-Diane White of Billings, MT, his uncle and aunt-Vernon and Rhoda Bull Coming of Lame Deer, MT besides many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncles: George, Donald and Tom Bull Coming, his aunt: Maurine Bull Coming-Island and cousins George Robert Bull Coming, Vernon (Crow) Bull Coming and Shannon Bull Coming.
A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Bull Coming home southeast of Seiling. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Cantonment Cemetery under the direction of the Redinger Funeral Home in Seiling.
