Rupert Lane Bullcoming was born on January 6, 1962 at Watonga, OK. He departed this life on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Denver, CO. Rupert was raised in the Canton community where he attended school. He enjoyed playing baseball, football and hunting and fishing. Rupert attended the Assembly of God Church in Longdale and Canton while growing up. He did farm work in the Fairview area, carpentry work, landscaping at the El Reno golf course and other jobs.

Rupert was preceded in death by his mother Maggie Bullcoming and one brother James Bullcoming; Survivors include his brother Larry Bullcoming of Enid, OK; nephews Aaron Bullcoming and his wife Michelle of Watonga, OK, Johnathan Bullcoming of Enid, OK; cousin Jane Cometsevah of El Reno, OK and nephews Hunter Lane Cometsevah and Frankie Cometsevah, both of El Reno, OK; great-niece Cynthia Bullcoming of Watonga, OK; and numerous family, relatives and friends.

A traditional wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Friday evening, June 29, 2018 at the Canton Native American Gymnasium with Rev. Jim Scott and Rev. George Akeen, Jr. officiating. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the same venue.

Interment will follow in the Cantonment Cemetery west of Canton Lake under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
