Donald Leroy Bullcoming Sr.

Aug. 3, 1943 ~ Nov. 30, 2006

A wake service for Donald Leroy Bullcoming Sr., 63, of Chimayo, N.M., will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Bullcoming residence five miles east and one mile south of Seiling. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the residence. A graveside service will follow in Cantonment Cemetery. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.

He was born Aug. 3, 1943, in Oklahoma City, to Roy Bullcomingup and Katheryn Nibbs Bullcoming, and died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at his home.

He was raised east of Seiling and attended Seiling schools. He married Esther Seeger. He later married Eunice Creek. He was a Cheyenne tribal ceremonial priest of Native American Church.

Surviving are his companion, Helen Woods of Chimayo; four daughters, Joyce Bullcoming of Elk City, Frances Bullcoming of Hammon, Kathy Bullcoming of Clinton and Donna Bullcoming of Espanola, N.M.; five sons, Tommy and Wilbur Bullcoming, both of Hammon, Donald Jr. and Solmon Bullcoming, both of Farmington, N.M., and Ronald Bullcoming of Espanola; two brothers, Vernon Bullcoming and Roy Dean Bullcoming, both of Seiling; and 22 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
