Submitted by: Linda Stewart

Lizzie Emma Stewart b. 16 Feb 1896 on a homestead near Elm Creek, Buffalo Co., NE. She was a twin. Her twin sister's name was Laura Ellen Stewart. Laura died 12 April 1897 on the homestead near Elm Creek, Buffalo County, Nebraska. It is not known where she is buried but presumed she was buried on the homestead. Laura and Lizzie were the daughters of Andrew Thomas Stewart and Mary Emma Bomgardner Stewart. Andrew and Mary Emma are buried in the Red Rock Cemetery near Red Rock, Noble Co., OK.
Andrew and Emma had 3 sets of twins. Two born in a sod house in Nebraska and 1 set Colorado. My grandfather was one of the twins, but his twin sister died at age 5 months with diptheria.
Andrew and Emma were my great grandparents and Lizzie was my great aunt, only she never knew it.
