Corlis Noreen Sankey, 47, of Canton, OK, departed this life on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on November 28, 1969 at Clinton, OK to Winslow and Tonita (Fingernail) Sankey. Corliss graduated from Canton High School and worked as a correctional officer at the Diamondback Correctional Facility at Watonga, OK before her health required her to retire. She enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with family & friends, and spoiling all of her grandchildren.

 Corliss was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Crawford Sankey, Diego Sankey and Kacey Sankey; one sister, Lorenda Sankey; one daughter, Olivia Sampson; She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Klassen and husband Darrick of Longdale, OK, Dayeneirah Sampson and Tomi Sampson, both of Canton, OK; two brothers, Winslow "Chubby" Sankey, Jr. and Robert Sankey, both of Hammon, OK; two sisters, Carol Phillips of Hammon, OK and Hattie White of Ethete, WY; five grandchildren, Icey Sankey, Nayeli Sampson, Redelk Sankey, Daniel Klassen and Winter Klassen; nephews and nieces, Frank White, Nelson White, Jeremy Phillips, Blake Phillips, Nick Phillips, Brian Phillips, Keith Phillips, Craig Phillips, Jadyn Sankey, Kacey Sankey, Jacoby Sankey, Jordyn Whiteskunk and Keeva White; and many other extended family members and friends.

Wake services will begin at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Canton Native American Gymnasium with Elvin Kenrick officiating. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2017 at the same venue. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK.
