ENID - Funeral for Alda "Ann" Reed, 77, of Canton, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Canton Christian Church. Burial in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Ann was born Feb. 7, 1934, near Eagle City, Okla., to Frank Sr. and Ada (Scabbyhorse) Addison and died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, in Watonga.

Surviving are daughters, Bonita North of El Reno, Debbie Plummer of Clinton, and Valeria Reed of Canton; sons, Darrell Reed and Paul W. Reed Jr., both of Canton; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, Paul Sr., two sons, and several brothers and sisters.

Ann Reed

The funeral service for Alda "Ann" Reed, 77, of Canton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Canton Christian Church with Pastor James Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK.

Ann was born on February 7, 1934 near Eagle City, OK to Frank, Sr. and Ada (Scabbyhorse) Addison. She departed this life on Monday evening, January 30, 2012 at Watonga, OK.

Ann worked as a police dispatcher at the Canton Police Department for 24 years. She also worked in the health care field as a certified medication aide at Okeene and Watonga. Ann enjoyed listening to her scanner, going to garage sales and working in her garden.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Watts Reed, Sr.; two sons, John Reed, Sr. and Donnie Reed; several brothers and sisters; Survivors include five children, daughter Bonita North of El Reno, OK, daughter Debbie Plummer of Clinton, OK, daughter Valeria Reed of Canton, OK, son Darrell Reed and son Paul W. Reed, Jr. both of Canton, OK; eighteen grandchildren, Tony, Rudy, Janet, Dominga, Jennifer, George Jr., Billy, Rebecca, Donald, Michelle, April, Amy, Ashley, John Jr., Donita, Galen, Sean and Christopher; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Dayron, Selena, Jordan, Cedrick, Lawrence, Gabby, Alex, Charlotte, Kathryn, Mason, Weston, Colton, Autumn, Alicia, Calista, Xavier, Tierra, Alaina, Alex, Alex and Allison; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends; Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
