Ruth Irene Rauh

The funeral for Ruth Irene Rauh, 80, of Canton will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Canton Christian Church. Steve Driskill will officiate. Burial will follow in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Haigler Funeral Home Inc.

She was born Oct. 11, 1925, at Dill City to Henry and Dora Karp Kephart and died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at Okeene Hospital.

She graduated with honors from Southard High School. She worked at Southard Mercantile Store evenings after school.

She married Edward Leroy Rauh in 1946 at Fairview. They lived in Arizona where he was stationed in the service. They moved back to Oklahoma in 1947, where they farmed and did custom harvesting. She also worked in the oil field industry and retired as Canton city clerk after 20 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Ring, and Pamela Sander, both of Canton; one brother, Lonnie Kephart of Canton; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters and one great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Canton Christian Church Building Fund.
