William Garret Nevels
(July 2, 1997 - February 9, 2016)

William Garret Nevels, age 18, of Meno, Oklahoma passed from this life on February 9, 2016. Garrett was born July 2, 1997 in Enid, Oklahoma. Garret attended Canton and Fairview schools at a young age and currently attended Ringwood High School. Garret was his momma's baby boy, and his sisters' everything. He was a loving, compassionate, energetic, goofy, and sarcastic young man. Garret enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and bull riding. Those who knew Garret always talked about his ability to make them laugh, and he was always there if they needed him.

Garret is survived by his mom, Christi Kornele and dad Kyle Kornele both of Meno; father David Nevels of Okeene; two sisters, Maci Bromlow and Kylee Bromlow; one brother Tucker Kornele; two nieces, Lola Hicks and Aubri Hicks; grandfather Bill Loss of Canton, grandfather and grandmother Jerry Nevels and Sue Nevels; Garret is preceded in death by his grandmother Dorothy Loss and grandfather Ronnie Bromlow. He will be greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him very much as well as his girlfriend, Maddison Seaman.

Funeral Services for Garret Nevels are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Canton Christian Church with Pastor Cody Anderson and Pastor James Wahl officiating. Interment will follow at the Canton Cemetery under direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home Canton, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com
