The wake service for Carol Ann Nelson, 47, of Canton, will be 7 p.m. Friday,
Jan. 16, 2009, at Native American Community Center, Canton. The memorial service
will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at the Canton City Community Center. The
Rev. Jim Scott will officiate. Burial will be in Canton Cemetery. Cremation
arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fairview.
She was born Dec. 8, 1961, in Clinton to Albert and Daisy Gould Green Jr. and
died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, west of Longdale.
She attended Canton High School.
She married John Nelson June 12, 2006, in Longdale. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, John, of the home; five children, Donna of Woodward,
Feather of Canton, John and Ricky, both of Oklahoma City, and Brian of Waynoka;
her mother, Daisy Green of Canton; two brothers, Jimmy Gould of Longdale and
John Green of Eagle City; and two sisters, Myria Gould of Canton and Adrian
Harris of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister.
