Michael Wayne Kopf was born February 15, 1953 to Bob and Beverly (Greb) Kopf in Okeene, OK. He departed this life on April 18, 2019 in Fairview, OK.
As a child Mike enjoyed riding horses and helping his dad on the farm. Once he entered high school, Mike had a passion for playing football and basketball. He graduated from Canton High School in 1971 and went to work for his father’s construction company, Kopf & Son. He worked for his father until his accident in 1983.
Mike married Jackie Wellington on April 13th, 1974 at the First Christian Church in Canton, OK. To this marriage was born two daughters, Stacie JoAnn and LeAnna Mae.
Mike is survived by his two daughters Stacie Louthan and husband Ryan of Chester, OK and LeAnna Thompson and husband James of Higgins, TX. His mother, Beverly Kopf of Southard, OK. Sister, Gayla Rauh and husband Danny of Canton, OK, sister Jana White of Fritch, TX, and brother Randy Kopf of Southard, OK. He is also survived by his three favorite people, his grandsons, Chase and Coy Louthan of Chester, OK and Parker Thompson of Higgins, TX.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Kopf, his father Bob Kopf, his brother-in-law Don White and many other aunts, uncles, and family members.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Canton Christian Church with Reverend Orville White officiating. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
