Memorial services for Robert “Bobby” L. Hicks, Jr., 73, of Canton, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Canton Christian Church with Steve Driskill officiating. Arrangements by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Robert Lee Hicks, Jr. was born on August 7, 1940 in Canton, OK to Robert Lee Hicks and Ora (Reed) Hicks. He attended school in Canton and graduated at Thomas High School in 1959. Bobby loved his kids and family. He enjoyed playing the guitar and writing music. He often played at church. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking. He lived many years in Fairview.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Hicks, Sr.; grandparents Charley and Cleo Reed and Martin and Maud Sloan; two nephews, Freddy and Shawn McCurdy; Survivors include his children, daughter Tana Lloyd of Las Vegas, NV, son Tracy Hicks and wife Connie of Canton, OK, daughter LaDonna Egger and husband Charles of Cushing, OK and daughter Crystal Nelson and husband Shane of Fairview, OK; former son-in-law Greg Levings of Mooreland, OK; mother Ora Hicks Rooker of Canton, OK; sister Rita Carol McCurdy and husband Floyd of Claremore, OK; eleven grandchildren, Cody Lloyd, Amanda Jolene Lloyd, Joshua Lloyd, Justin Hicks, Dustin Hicks, Geremy Levings, Kurt Levings, Kyra Levings, Adam Moreno, Matthew Dean Hicks and Jonathan Nelson; fourteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews;

Memorials may be made to the Canton Christian Church with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.
