Clarence Heath
(December 2, 1931 - May 26, 2015)

Clarence Elvin Heath, third son of Ralph F. and Mary Maude McGreevy Heath, was born December 2nd 1931 in Alamota, Lane County, Kansas. He passed from this life on May 26th, 2015 in the Fairview Fellowship Home, Fairview, Oklahoma.

He attended West School and then graduated in 1949 from Dighton High School. Clarence married Charlene Mae Haigler on June 3rd, 1951 in the First Baptist Church in Canton, Oklahoma. During the first three months they resided in Dighton, Kansas until he enlisted in the Navy in 1951 and was honorably discharged in August of 1955. Clarence returned home to Canton, Oklahoma where he was engaged in farming and ranching. In 1957 Clarence and Charlene announced the birth of their son; Paul Douglas Heath. He supplemented the family income working at U.S. Gypsum Company for several years. In 1968 they welcomed their second son, Greg Wayne Heath. Clarence enjoyed his life on the farm with his family. He was a Past Master of the Canton Masonic Lodge #418, past patron of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Canton Christian Church. He served fifteen years on the Soil Conservation Board, and several years on the Blaine County Fair Board. Clarence was a great supporter of 4-H and FFA organizations. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Raymond, Francis, and Tommy. He leaves behind his wife Charlene of the home; and two sons; Paul and wife Penny, and Greg of Canton, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Venters and Virginia Jasper; and one brother, John Heath and wife Bessie, all residing in Dighton Kansas; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Canton Christian Church with Steve Driskill officiating. Interment will follow at Canton Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home Canton, Oklahoma.

Memorials may be made to Canton Christian Church, Canton Fire Department, Canton EMS, and Faith Hospice with funeral home serving as custodian at PO Box 36 Canton, Oklahoma 73724. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com..
