Enid News and Eagle
ENID — Memorial service for Sherry Compton, 70, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Canton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga.

She was born July 23, 1942, to Red and Wanda Stott and died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from SWOSU and a master’s degree in counseling. She was a real estate agent and served on the library board and with Friends of the Library.

Surviving are son Kelly and wife Vonda, granddaughter Kayci Compton and son-in-law Rick Compton, all of Watonga.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Lisa Gaye Lewis.
