 Graveside services for Betty Burghardt, 82, of Canton, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Canton Cemetery with Pastor Michael Grigsby officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Oklahoma.

Betty was born August 6, 1940 at Jasper, Alabama to parents Earnest and Bertha (Latham) Mauldin. She departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Betty was raised at Canton, Oklahoma where she graduated high school. She married Jim Burghardt on June 21, 1959 at Canton. Betty enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; husband Jim Burghardt; and two sisters, Ernestine O’Neal and Patricia Janzen. Survivors include three children, daughter Betty Jo Boland and husband Cliff; and sons Jim Burghardt and wife Kelly and Allen Burghardt and wife Linda; eight grandchildren, Joshua McCarty, Gina McCarty, Stephanie McCormick, Colby Daniels, Daren Burghardt, Misty Coulter, Amber Chaves and Wesley Burghardt; and many great-grandchildren.
