Linden Royce "Dim" Blackwolf was born June 28, 1959 at Clinton, Oklahoma to Tommy and Lena (Smoker) Blackwolf. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 4, 2024 at El Reno, Oklahoma after a lengthy illness
Linden was raised at Canton, Oklahoma and graduated with the class of 1977. He was a good athlete and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping in the mountains. After graduation Linden moved north to Wyoming where he worked as a firefighter for the Shoshone tribe for 33 years before retiring. He eventually moved back to Oklahoma and resided in El Reno. His family enjoyed the fascinating stories he told from his experiences fighting fires in the Wyoming wilderness.
Linden was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and three sisters; He is survived by two daughters, Susie Fanman and Sequoia Blindman; two sons, Sterling Blindman and Shilo Blindman; one sister, Lisa Brown of El Reno, Oklahoma; one brother, Wally Oldman of Riverton, Wyming; other extended family and friends.
Wake services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Canton E.R.C. with Pastor Waylan Upchego officiating. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the same venue with interment to follow at Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
